About Me

I am back to work two days after being at home looking after my two girls - Anna - 1 and 3 year old, Chloe. I am an education, ict consultant and have worked as a teacher, coordinator, project officer for the South Australian Education Department. Taught in the lands, Kimba Area School and at the Open Access College in Adelaide. I have worked with education.au since 2001 in a number of different roles - project office, communications officer, assistant manager - edna, and acting manager. I am currently working on the new project me.edu.au but have a passion for online collaborative projects and facilitation of online groups.

Hi Kate Just checking in re: embedding video movie. I noticed there's already an entry in about me http://me.edu.au/b/aboutme/entry/how_to_embed_a_video Did you still want me to do a post on embedding? I could do a bit of a list of things u can embed. Let me know if there's anything else. Thanks Chet

Hello Kate - I thought you might like to hear that OAC are up and running with Moodle. So, thanks for your input - it was a booster for us!

Hi Kate - wondering whether you would change the default setting in the me.edu.au blog preferences to allow unlimited time for commenting on blog posts. At the moment the default time to allow comments for new entries is one month, which means if I come late to a post I can't comment. I think Unlimited is a better overall default.

Thanks so much for your session today, Kate - the staff were all chatting about the possibilities and it was great to see some working models to get a picture of all the possibilities that Moodle offers. Cheers.
