I've been watching/reading a really interesting US newsletter/ezine this year - the Educator's EZine - Technology and Learning - http://www.techlearning.com/outlook/current.php The Ezine comes out once a month, has lots of really interesting stories about cool things teachers are doing - links to interesting or important papers - tips and hints for teachers - upcoming events, training, and professional development. One of the headings in the newsletter is Cool tools and Features - the stories in this section in October included:Learning from Pictures, Letting Social Networking into Schools, How to define and Assess Student Technology Proficiency and Buyers Guide Listings. The format has only four stories under each heading but there are links to further readings - with an ability for readers to submit their own stories.
