Welcome to the "ednatv" community
Edublogs.tv is a great idea. Easy to use, upload or use channels to link to content already uploaded (youtube). And audio. Multimedia much much easier.
Heard about Mogulous (see links) via elearning insights podcast with laurel papworth (silkcharm). Interesting and worth a listen. Laurel would be great value wrto the 'community' leg of your stool.
Alison found 'Interactive Whiteboards: Beginners Guide', which has a youtube video (see left link). After the end credits other related video's on beginners use of IWB's appear in the video player. That's our idea!
AH! brain freeze I was logged in as a kid. Media sharing is as per normal in NSW. :)
Today all media sharing sites seem to be blocked in our NSW primary school. Including podcasting. Hopefully it's just a temporary glitch.
Just posted a URL for Paltalk that has some interesting features, which include: video chat rooms, frequently chatted friends as Favorites and Pals, daily live streaming of radio/video shows into chat rooms for discussion, effective search function, and still in beta - the ability to embed a vidcast on your Web page or blog. Now there's some ideas for edna.tv!
TOTLOL - ripper, love the 'scout, submit, screen' model for community particimapation. Edna.tv community builders could learn from that.
Just posted (and removed) a link to Totlol, which Belinda has also posted. Looks like an interesting concept
Is there a way edna.tv could capitalise on the shows strengths (eg professional community & categorisation) and provide the community and user-generated content aspects. Allow them to be seen and added to the conversations?
