I found that this digital message was directed towards teachers and
was intentionally designed to motivate them to use technology
in the
classroom so that students remain engaged with their
learning. The
ideas presented were reasonable for a teacher
who knows and
understands technology. However, for those
teachers who have limited
knowledge of technology i think
that they would feel overwhelmed by
the numerous types of
technology that could be used to engage
students. Regardless
of this situation, this video would encourage
them to
professionally develop their teaching methodologies to engage
the students.
The example of how to use technology in the classroom
was great to get
creative thinking happening. Additionally, the
way in which this video
is viewed, somewhat like a mini
powerpoint presentation, is another
example of how to use and
develop literacy with the use of technology.
